Barncats in Ellensburg

Dave and I went to the 20th anniversary showing of "Dirty Dancing" at the theater last night. Did you know they've made a musical out of it? I don't believe it's reached the U.S. yet, but it has broken all box office records in London. Can I tell you, no matter how many times I watch that movie I LOVE it. I so wanted to be "Baby" when I first saw it.

In other news, we actually ordered our cabinets Tuesday. Or at least we gave them money. We still have to approve the plans but we officially picked our wood (natural cherry) and are still trying to decide on the bamboo flooring. We aren't sure if we want vertical or horizontal, natural or carbonized (color). Look at the pictures and if you have an opinion about which one would look best with the cabinet color, please let me know! The picture of the cabinet is just to show the color. We're having shaker-style doors- and no entertainment center. Then go down a post or two and look at the granite and tell me if you think it will look good. We also picked out the drawer pulls and cabinet door knobs. Those are already purchased so don't tell me if you don't like them!

We're trying to plan our big family trip to Disneyland this summer. If you have any special discount ideas I really need to hear about them. I'm figuring out why we've never been before- it's SUPER expensive!
