Barncats in Ellensburg

The tile in the basement isn't finished yet, the loan for the kitchen remodel is almost finished- it should fund tomorrow, and I'm really stressed out that we might spin our wheels and never finish any of it. I really want the kitchen finished- now. Unfortunately, when your husband is doing most of it that isn't a reality. I have to figure out where the fine line between sanity and money lies. How much of it can I afford to pay someone else to do? I'm pretty sure I'll have to hire out the beam and outside wall construction. I'm sure Dave can remove our old cabinets and demolish 1/2 the existing wall. Drywall? Better hire out. He can install the cabinets- but what about the gas line for the stove? The electrical? Oy vey! I can't even think about the bathrooms yet. We can't even seem to get the cabinets ordered, but should we even be doing that when the structural changes haven't been engineered or made? I know nothing about this stuff! Meanwhile, I'd really like the tile finished.

Camille's cheerleading uniform came in (most of it, anyway) so my brother Scott took her senior pictures last Saturday. I'm excited to see how they turn out. He's a really good photographer so I'm sure they'll be great. I think it'll be tough to choose which ones to print. The great part of having my brother take the pictures is that we get the proofs for all of them. I'll post a few once we get them.
