Barncats in Ellensburg

There really isn't much to tell. Work is work, the house is a mess and it's getting colder outside. Soccer takes up our entire weekend it seems. Chloe's games are on Saturdays and Shane's are Sunday, usually the same time as church so that's a problem. Neither team is winning much this year so it hasn't been as fun as usual. Shane's team was nearly undefeated last year so they moved them into a more difficult league, which has made it much harder to win! They're both good sports and hardly complain at all when they lose. They don't take after their father that way...

Still no progress on the remodel. In fact, it's been a few weeks since we saw any progress on the tile. It still needs sealed and the transitions installed. Purchased AND installed, that is. Maybe one day we'll get started on the kitchen- it's hard to envision it ever being finished.

It's homecoming week for Camille so I'm taking 1/2 the day Friday off to watch her cheer/dance at the assembly. They're playing their biggest rivals for the game that night, which isn't necessarily great because I don't think our team is as good as theirs. The possibility of losing the Homecoming game to our arch rival is pretty high. Camille has a date to the dance Saturday night- now I just have to get the dress hemmed. We're lucky we don't have to buy a new dress for every dance- Camille inherited her cousin Hailey's collection when she graduated high school.
