I think I must be a huge dork because I'm really excited about the company I'm a consultant for now. Maybe it's the newness of it all, but I really feel like I'll be able to make it work for me. When you're selling anything it's really important to love the product/products and I really do love them. I see a difference when I look in the mirror, which is the biggest test of all, right? And my fingers have stopped peeling since I started using the hand care. Yeah, my fingertips are constantly peeling and I always have hangnails that hurt (it's lovely, really), but I don't right now, which is great.
Besides feeling excited about the products, I'm a little nervous that I won't be brave enough to sell them to other people. It's silly, because if I didn't stand to make any money from telling my friends how much I love this stuff I'd be shouting it from the rooftops. I wonder what it is that makes us clam up the minute we stand to benefit from sharing our opinions? I guess at that point it's no longer an unbiased opinion even if you're saying the same thing you said before you started earning money.
Anyway, I'm heading down to Utah Sept. 4 to do a spa for my friends and sisters-in-law. I'm really excited to see everyone, and I'm sure they'll love it all too!
Oh yeah- the company is BeautiControl. I'm ranting on about it and forgot that part. I have a new website that you can look at all the products. It's www.beautipage.com/juliemerrill.
In other news... Camille is going up to Bellingham today to fight a speeding ticket, so everyone send good vibes her way. A prayer or two wouldn't hurt, either. We can't really afford to have our insurance premiums increase, you know?
Brayden and Shane have band camp for 6 hours a day every day for the rest of the week up at the high school, so Chloe will be the lone ranger for a few hours a day. One of our friends that moved to Indiana is coming back for a visit and bringing her twin boys that we've never met and Chloe will be babysitting them for a few days. Their mom Adrienne is here on business so she has to work for Wednesday and Thursday.
