Barncats in Ellensburg

I was able to get my hands on books two and three—New Moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. I love all three of the books so far, and I'm really looking forward to book four which is supposedly coming out sometime this fall. I'm also plotting a trip to the coast with Marie if they film the Twilight movie on location in Forks/La Push. It's only about a 4-hour drive (and $25-$30 ferry ride) to get there. My family used to stay in the camper's cabins at first beach in La Push. We also stayed at Mora (between Forks and La Push) once or twice that I can remember. Mainly I remember being in a little cabin right on the beach and torrential rain completely filling a yellow sand pail we left on the porch. I believe it really is the rainiest place on earth.

Other than that, some big things have or will happen for my family over the next month or so. Mom turned 70 (gulp) yesterday, Brayden turned 17 on the fifth, I turn 41 on the 25th, and Dave and I celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary on the 13th of February.
