Long Time No Say

Wow- I haven't written for a while. I keep meaning to post pictures of the almost-completed kitchen, but I haven't taken any. The cabinets are all in (except two that we haven't received yet due to a measurement error). I have a sink, a disposal (hooray!), a stove and oven. Last night I cooked dinner on a stove for the first time in several months. It was great to be able to do that!
Last Sunday we dropped Camille off at school up in Bellingham. She started classes at Western Washington University on Wednesday. So far, so good. The campus is really beautiful and as far as I can tell she hasn't been homesick. The school is only 90 miles north near the Canadian border, so she'll be able to come home for holidays, weekends, etc. if she wants. I'm really excited for her- college is such a fun time!
Soccer season is in full swing, so we have 2-3 games per weekend right now. It's good and bad for me- I love watching the kids play, but I hate sitting in the rain to do it. When it rains we take the big patio umbrella and plant it in the very wet ground and park our chairs underneath. Both Chloe and Shane are playing again this year-
Brayden got a job at a local music store which he really enjoys. He doesn't get as many hours as he'd like, but hey- it's a job. Shane is missing working for my cousin Tim- it was his main source of income and Tim moved his family to New York, so Shane's broke for the first time in years. We refer to him as the 'bank of Shane.' I'm sure he'll find a way to make some money soon.

Hi!!! I'm so sad I didn't get a chance to talk to you while I was in town! I was hoping to do a girl's night but it didn't work out. By the way - what is Carol's blog address. Marie just told me they moved to NY. WHAT???? =)
